The SGA is sponsoring a fundraiser in support of Cabin John student, Lauren Winn, who recently began a battle against Osteosarcoma.
On Nov. 1, a dear member of our student community, Lauren Winn, was diagnosed with cancer. Over the next 12 months, Lauren will be undergoing treatment to fight her cancer. It will be a long, uphill battle for Lauren. Let’s help her fight as a community by raising money for Lauren and her family during this challenging time.
Our annual student vs. staff basketball game will be played on Dec. 22 during school. Our SGA is sponsoring a fundraiser to help our student team win the game! Every $2 donated will equal 1 point for the student team! All money raised will be donated to the Winn family! Please consider helping the student team win, but more importantly help Lauren and her family fight this cancer!
Starting on Tuesday December 13th, donations of cash and checks will be accepted each morning in the grade level PODS by Team Leaders and at all lunches by administrators. Checks should be made payable to ‘Cabin John Middle School.’ Donations can be made up to Wednesday December 21st.
