Gift wrapping is under way and thanks to the support of the Wootton community and cluster schools, all clothing, toiletry, and toy items have been purchased. We have less than 90 items left and they are all gift cards. Here are some of the reasons we give a child a gift card instead of a physical gift:
- If a child makes a specific request because they want to shop on their own (common with teenagers)
- If a child makes a request that is difficult for us to fulfill (e.g., a child asked for a flute and the music teacher suggested an instrument rental or purchasing a used instrument)
- We are not given enough information about what the child wants (common when the parent’s first language is not english)
Here’s how you can help:
- All of the remaining gift cards for a child are available on their Amazon registry: go to woottonptsa.org/holidayregistries or use the links below
- Donate a grocery store gift card: Grocery Store Gift Card Sign Up Form. We still need grocery gift cards for 24 families. You can either purchase a gift card and drop it off or send us the money and we will purchase it for you.
- Donate money and we can shop for you (send an email to holiday@tswoottonhs.org or text Nikki at 239-247-9944 if you would like to confirm receipt – all donations are private, your information will not be shared)

All gift cards must be dropped off (or arrive by, if shipping) no later than December 15th to Jen’s house (10218 Nolan Drive in Rockville) because all gifts will be delivered to families no later than December 17th.
