We appreciate the families who have reached out to help with next year’s PTSA and the nominating committee will be announcing the slate of candidates prior to our June 2 meeting! We are still looking to fill one more officer role to be elected by the general membership:
- Secretary: Responsible for taking minutes during board and general meetings, and assisting with developing agendas for each meeting.
We also need several standing committee chairs for next year who will sit on the Board of Directors:
- Communications: Work with the VP for Communications & Events to publish the weekly newsletter and post on WhatsApp and social media. This role could be split among several volunteers so please reach out if you are interested.
- Transition: Support CJMS as it prepares for any future changes in feeder school patterns and coordinate with impacted elementary schools and Hoover MS to ensure families are supported through any future transitions.
