The Samuel Williams Leadership Foundation is hosting the 4th Annual Be T.R.U.E. – 5K run/walk on March 25, 2017 at Wootton High School. Sam Williams was a student at Wootton high school and a member of the track team who passed away. His family started the foundation in his name.
The Samuel Williams Leadership Foundation is hosting the FOURTH Annual Be T.R.U.E. – 5K run/walk on March 25, 2017 at 10am. On-line registration is now available here
The foundation is an IRS approved non-profit program that provides leadership and team building programs to Wootton teens. To date, the foundation has awarded over $15,0000.00 in awards to eight Wootton students in three years to George Mason University, American University, Calleva Leadership in Training, and U.S. Rotary Leadership Conference. All proceeds from the race are used for leadership awards at Wootton. This year the foundation is working with the Wootton Wellness Program for a combined community health and fitness fair on this day. Please help us continue this work to provide leadership training and opportunities to Wootton teens. This is in memory Sam Williams Class of 2015. There will be fun for the whole family.
