FREE youth heart screenings available for students ages 12-19 on Saturday, March 4, 2017, from 10 AM to 3 PM at Wootton High School. Pre-registration is required. You can register your student for this program here.
The screening is limited to the first 300 registered students.
Sudden cardiac arrest is the #1 cause of death of student athletes. It takes the lives of thousands of students every year.
This heart screening is being brought to Wootton High School by Simon’s Fund. Simon’s Fund was established in 2005 in memory of Simon Sudman, a seemingly healthy three-month old that died in his sleep. The organization provides free heart screenings to students and through awareness and advocacy, is going to make screening the hearts of children a standard of care in this country.
