Dear Cabin John Middle School Staff and Community,
The purpose of this letter is to share information about the timeline and process for the selection of the permanent principal of Cabin John Middle School. As you know, when Mr. Taylor transitioned to his position as principal at Winston Churchill High School, we asked Mrs. Snider to serve in the acting principal role for the 2021-2022 school year. Therefore, at this time we must engage in the comprehensive candidate selection and interview process that will result in the Montgomery County Board of Education appointing the next principal of Cabin John Middle School.
Our principal hiring process includes an opportunity for staff and families to provide input as I complete the selection process. This input includes sharing feedback on the characteristics you seek in a principal and a select group of staff and parents to join me as members of the interview panel.
I will meet with the Cabin John Middle staff on Monday, February 14, 2022 and community on February 15, 2022 to discuss the process of filling this important principalship. Below you will find a zoom link to this meeting. In addition, linked below is the survey that will support the identification of the characteristics that you seek in your next principal.
