CJMS International Night is Friday!
On Friday, March 6, Cabin John will go international with a celebration of our cultures! Please help make this a night to remember by coming to support all of the hard work families and students have put into creating this special event for our community.

Location: Cabin John Middle School – All Purpose Room
Join us at this exciting event and experience the cultural diversity of the Cabin John Middle School community!
There will be several countries represented, performances, a photo booth and games. Each country will have tables to display posters, flags, artifacts, instruments, games, photos food, and activities that will help guests engage in new cultures.

Community Event #2 — Finding the Right College for Students with Learning Differences.
Walter Johnson High School PTSA will be holding a presentation on Finding the Right College for Students with Learning Differences on Monday, March 23rd from 7-8:30pm in the cafeteria. Julie Reiley, Chair of WJHS PTSA Special Needs & Learning Differences Committee will be hosting this informative event.

Anti-Vaping Education for Parents and Students (From MCPS)
Let’s Clear the Air: A Campaign to Prevent Youth Vaping
Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) has partnered with the Montgomery County Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) on a public awareness campaign under the Be Well 365 umbrella entitled, Let’s Clear the Air to prevent adolescent vaping. An anti-vaping Symposium is scheduled for March 28, 2020. More details will follow in upcoming messages. Students may still submit anti-vaping public service announcements (PSA) through February 14, 2020 by visiting the DHHS website.

Black History Celebration TOMORROW: Town Hall; Call for Questions
Cabin John’s annual Black History Month program will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 7.30pm.
*NEW* We are excited to offer a “town hall” on Friday, February 21 during the Black History Month Celebration on Friday evening. Students (only), through their parents, may submit questions to Randi Greene (rgreenechapman@gmail.com) All questions will be pre-screened and must be received via email to Randi by 4 p.m. on Friday, February 21. The moderators of the town hall include:
