Cabin John is hosting a week-long series of events centered on Angst, a 56-minute film and virtual reality experience that explores anxiety, its causes, effects and what we can do about it. Your students were shown this film on Tuesday; tonight, we host a screening open to all. Through candid interviews, the filmmakers tell the stories of many kids and teens who discuss their anxiety and its impacts on their lives and relationships, as well as how they’ve found solutions and hope. Parents can watch the film with their kids to learn how to cope with the angst of growing up in our environment. After the film, two mental health professionals, Julie Baron and Jeffrey Kranzler will be available for discussion afterwards.
