On Saturday April 29th, 2017 the Montgomery County Council of Parent-Teacher Associations will hold its 6th Performing Arts Festival on the Rockville Town Square Stage from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. This year the festival will feature 37 performances by students providing a variety of dance and musical entertainment. The festival features student performance groups from dozens of MCPS schools.
The event will feature over 400 student performers and offers a wide range of cultural and modern artistic talent. The performances feature dance and musical performances, including traditional Chinese and classical Indian dance, Hip-Hop dance, Bollywood Indian dance, African dance, Broadway musicals (including both Mulan and Beauty and the Beast), modern dance, and several step teams. The musical performances include jazz and light rock, choral groups, strings, and a-capella groups.
