Speed and Agility with the Player Progression Academy
Fun, fitness, and…more fun! The Player Progression Academy is bringing it’s ever-popular Speed and Agility class to your school. Make no mistake, the fun students have in this class is firmly rooted in PPA’s highly successful speed and agility curriculum. This class attracts athletes from a wide variety of sports and the skills learned over the course of the season are designed to help build player confidence, flexibility, and, of course, speed! Whether your child is hoping to gain a competitive edge in a particular sport or is just looking for a way to keep active and have a great time, PPA’s highly-trained coaches will not disappoint! The class costs $150 plus the one-time annual registration fee of $15.
SUPERFOODS! With Gourmet Chefs
Like super heroes, superfoods may appear ordinary, but these foods have special nutrition superpowers. This session our Gourmet Chefs will discover ten different superfoods and learn why they are so powerful. Different superfoods have the ability to energize and protect while at the same time packing a tasty punch! Students learn delicious preparations such as: Blueberry-Compote with Sweet Ricotta, Pomegranate-Orange Salad, Seared Salmon Kabobs, Creamed Kale and Dark Chocolate Berry Bites. Join us to learn all about these superheroes of the food world! The class costs $200 plus the one-time annual registration fee of $15.
It’s My Business with Junior Achievement
Through hands-on activities, Junior Achievement’s It’s My Business! introduces an entrepreneurship curriculum for students in grades six, seven, and eight. The program emphasizes entrepreneurship while providing a strong focus on knowing your customer, S.W.A.T. analysis, cost analysis and overhead, and other skills. Students are encouraged to use critical thinking to learn entrepreneurial skills that support positive attitudes as they explore and enhance their career aspirations. The class costs $150 plus the one-time annual registration fee of $15.
