Letter from Flex Academies explaining refund options for Spring:
Hello Flex Families,
As part of our ongoing commitment to provide clear and consistent communication, I have an update regarding refunds for the Spring Sessions.
First, I would like to explain why you may have experienced a delayed response from our team regarding your questions, including refunds. We are working with an extremely light team and trying to respond as quickly as possible. We regret any inconvenience this has caused. With this in mind, I wanted to share more detail regarding the refund process. In an effort to be as flexible as possible, we are offering three different options to manage the refund:
As you know, Flex Academies ONE, our online platform, was launched with success last week. We continue to add new providers and families each day. Your first option is to transfer Spring Session credit to ONE, at a 10% premium. This would not only provide your child with additional enrichment time, but it would help to keep our valued providers working as well In this scenario, if $100 was paid for an enrichment class, we are offering a coupon code for $110 worth of online classes.
All families with a credit balance with Flex Academies will receive an individualized coupon code to use on ONE via email on Friday, April 17.
These coupons will be immediately active for use.
Flex ONE was established primarily with the goal of encouraging socialization of kids. It’s also providing a much needed support to many of our valued providers who may be struggling during this time.
If you do not wish to take any online enrichment classes, your balance can be transferred for the same class for the Fall 2020 Session.
If our provider opts to increase the price of their offering for the Fall, Flex Academies will absorb this increase and not pass on the cost.
In the event the Spring Class does not run in the Fall, we will apply the credit to a different class.
As you know, Flex Academies ONE is giving back by providing free enrichment hours to children of medical professionals and first responders who are putting their lives on the line for us during this pandemic. If you would like to join in this effort, you can donate any or all of your remaining balance to the fund we’ve established for them.
Finally, if you are not interested in these options, we will issue you a refund. We will send a link to a survey on Friday which will need you to complete in order to have the refund issued.
Any requests for refunds through our email or customer service team will not be processed. All requests must be through this survey.
With our skeleton team, it may take about 60-90 days before we complete the refund process. In addition, our processor is limited to the number of refunds we can process at once.
This being said, all refunds will be processed, as we will always do right by our families.
I would strongly encourage you to consider applying your credit to Flex Academies ONE to both encourage social interaction and support our providers, most of whom are small business owners. But, again, our goal is to accommodate your wishes and do the right thing for you and your family.
From the entire Flex Academies Team, thank you for continuing to be great partners. In this truly unprecedented time, the support of our families, school, PTA’s, and providers is appreciated immensely.
